Extreme Emotion

Late Sunday night Zoey had just got done watching this sad movie called “Down to You” by Kris Isacsson. She wanted to tell her boyfriend about the movie. When she got done with the convection her heart had been broken by the one guy she thought she was going to grow old with. She threw her phone across the room and fell to the floor crying. She got out a sharp pain reliever, but she over power herself and flushed it down the drain. Whether a person is dealing with a breakup and throws a hissing fit or some other difficulty, extreme emotions must be effectively controlled because if we don’t great sadness or even fear can impact physical and mental health.
Controlling extreme emotion is important so that anger does not overwhelm us and lead to hurting someone or yourself. For example, Sam was in a hurry to get to work and this teenage girl hit Sam from behind and made him really angry. Instead of saying something he just pulled over and took a deep breathe.
Controlling extreme emotion is important so that sadness does not overwhelm us and lead to depression. In addition, Sarah had been bully her whole life because she is different then all the other girls. One day she took some sleeping pills. She never woke up. Therefore, talking to friends, listening to music, doing outside activity or inside activity can help with sadness or anger.
